Clynelish 12 Year Old Spring Cap, bottled 1960s – M Di Chiano

A bottle of Clynelish 12 Year Old, sealed with a spring cap closure. This was bottled by the distillers Ainslie & Heilbron Ltd., and imported to Italy by M di Chiano.

We estimate this was bottled in the early 1960s, in which case it would have been distilled in the original Clynelish distillery, now known as Brora.

Laphroaig 1967 Sherry Wood, 15 Year Old – Cadenhead

A bottle of Laphroaig 15 Year Old from independent bottler Cadenhead. This was distilled in June 1967, matured in sherry wood, and bottled in September 1982. This was distributed in Germany by Scoma GmbH.

Johnnie Walker Swing, Opening Of Hill Street Premises 1956

A special bottle of Johnnie Walker Swing, presented to colleagues and guests of the company on the opening of the new premises in 1956.

The label reads: J.W.& S Ltd. To commemorate the opening of the new premises of John Walker & Sons Ltd. at Hill Street, Kilmarnock on 11th September 1956.

The Swing bottle rocks back and forth on a flat surface, and is sealed with a cork stopper. An additional glass stopper is attached around the neck. The glass is embossed with the company’s founding year, 1820, and the company crest and signature on the back.

A bottle of The Macallan 1954 bottled by Campbell, Hope & King. We estimate this was bottled in the 1970s.

A bottle of Black & White Extra Light blended Scotch whisky, sealed with a spring cap closure. This was imported to the US by The Fleischmann Distilling Corporation, New York, we estimate in 1965.

Bowmore 1972, 27 Year Old

A limited edition bottle of Bowmore 27 Year Old. This was distilled on 16 October 1972, matured in the distillery’s No.1 Vault, and bottled from three casks at cask strength.

This is bottle number 220 of 466; it was bottled from cask numbers 4864, 4865, and 4866.
