Macallan 1938 Handwritten Label
A bottle of The Macallan 1938, bottled in the early 1980s by Gordon & MacPhail. This bottling has a handwritten label and is presented in a wooden box.

A bottle of The Macallan 1946 Select Reserve. Unusually for The Macallan, this was distilled from peated malt, due to the high prices of coal after World War II. It was matured for 52 years in sherry casks and is presented in a handmade wooden case. This comes with a pair of keys to lock the case, and a certificate of guarantee dated 1 May 1998 and signed by the distillery manager.

A pair of Royal Navy Rum flagons, still in their original wooden crate. The crate is sealed with metal straps. We estimate these were bottled in 1954 to 1955.
This comes with a Certificate of Legal Title and Transfer, showing the item being transferred from one bonded warehouse (Marshall Wineries) to another (Octavian Ltd), in December 1995. This document states the country of origin as Jamaica, and the contents as two imperial gallon flagons of dark Navy rum. We have removed the original owner’s name from the images.
