Courvoisier Jarnacaise La Part des Anges

This is a special edition Jarnacaise bottle, never released for sale, commemorating the launch of the seventh decanter in the limited edition Courvoisier Erté Collection. Called “La Part des Anges” (the angel’s share) it continues an artistic pilgrimage by Erté, the master of art deco, which celebrated the creation of fine cognac from grapes of the Charente region. Originally, this was meant to be the final entry in the series, as the included paperwork attests, but due to the popularity of the range, Courvoisier also released a final, eighth decanter.

An extremely rare bottle of 1972 vintage Macallan from their Fine & Rare series, bottled in 2002 as a 29-year-old, this is a real collector’s item. The Macallan Fine & Rare Collection represents the very best of The Macallan’s oldest maturing stock and the greatest range of vintage single malt ever released. Every year the range is augmented by the introduction of the new vintage release. The natural dark walnut wood colour of this whisky indicates maturation in an incredibly rich, first-fill Spanish oak sherry cask.
