The December auction saw Japanese whisky and whisky from across Scotland continue to rise. Islay was the standout category with top lots from Bowmore and Ardbeg distilleries. Independent bottlings from Corti Brothers surged in value.
There was plenty of fine wine and Champagne in our pre-Christmas sale. Domaine de La Romaneé Conti, first growth clarets and prestige cuvées from the top grande marque Champagne houses saw the greatest demand.
