Collected Whisky Book Readings Recorded Live!

Thinking of staying in tonight? We have four videos to share with you this week so pour yourself a whisky, put your out of office on and join Whisky.Auction‘s very own Jackanory for grown ups with four whisky book readings.

Recorded during the Virtual Whisky Show 2020, we asked four of our favourite whisky writers to join us and read from their recent whisky books. Charlie MacLean read from his superb Scotch Whisky: A Liquid History. Henry Jeffreys read from his impeccably researched and wide ranging Empire of Booze. Nicholas Morgan gave us a world exclusive reading from his soon to be published A Long Stride and Rachel McCormack entertained us with extracts from Chasing the Dram.

After each of the book readings stay for the whisky chat, there has never ever been a whisky conversation containing so little talk about cask policies, phenolic levels and bottle codes and yet so much impassioned debate about porridge, ballerinas, books and fishing. The Whisky.Auction book readings are the most fun you can have indoors with your slippers on.
